Children’s Safeguarding Statement

Our school wants everybody to be safe everywhere – safe in school, safe at home, safe outside and travelling safely. There are lots of ways that we can keep safe at home, in school and everywhere. If we are feeling scared, worried, threatened or unsafe or if someone has harmed us, bullied us or hurt our feelings, then we should TELL!

In our school we can tell the trusted adults: The Safeguarding Team - Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and SENCO, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Midday Meal Supervisors, Caretaker and Office Staff. We can also tell Play Leaders, Playground friends and our own friends.

We support each other to stay safe by looking out for one another, speaking out to trusted adults to stay safe. We can help each other to remember the messages from NSPCC’s Buddy and Pantosaurus, as well as Clever Never Goes.

We will be Bucket Fillers every day to keep us happy and safe in our work and our play!
